Exchange Flow Monitor

On-chain staging signal: token deposits into / withdrawals from Bybit hot wallets over the scan window. A spike (z-score > threshold) while price pumps = sell pressure being staged.

Monitored Wallets curated in wallets.json

Hot wallets rotate — check alive status; re-add addresses from your Bybit deposit page as needed. Wallets with alive: false are likely rotated.

Bybit Spot CVD live · public API · taker flow

Cumulative volume delta from recent spot trades. Negative delta while perps pump = the rally is being sold into (execution leg of the distribution-trap signal).

About why this exists

The staging signal

Before a whale can dump tokens on Bybit they must deposit to a Bybit hot wallet — they cannot sell what is not on the exchange. A large, sudden inflow of a token into Bybit's hot-wallet addresses while price is pumping = sell pressure being staged.

Whales can rotate their personal wallets, but they cannot rotate Bybit's deposit address. That makes exchange netflow the rotation-proof on-chain signal.

Composite rule

pump + exchange-inflow spike + negative spot CVD → skip the long / tighten the stop / consider flip. A veto/filter, not a standalone entry.

Stack

  • On-chain leg: keyless public RPCs (eth_getLogs) — no API keys
  • Execution leg: Bybit public REST (CORS-enabled) — live spot CVD
  • stdlib-only Python pipeline, cron-ready (daily flows monitor)
